It only becomes difficult when it lasts and recovery is missing.<\/p><h2>The good side of tension<\/h2><p>Before an exam, a competition, an important talk, a surge of adrenaline makes you more alert and quicker. This brief activation improves performance, we speak of good stress. What matters is that calm follows afterwards.<\/p><h2>Stress as an early-warning system<\/h2><p>Body signs are messages.
