Here’s how
- Write down 8 to 10 values that matter to you (e.g. honesty, calm, connection, courage).
- Cross out until 3 remain, the ones without which you wouldn’t be you.
- Ask of each: “When did I last live by this?”
- For the coming week, choose one small action that fits one of these values.
A calm self-help exercise, no substitute for therapy. Leave out whatever doesn’t feel good.
