2. General & your rights
We process personal data under the GDPR and the BDSG. You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to withdraw consent given. We answer requests within a month. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for us: the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia).
3. Hosting & server log files
The website is hosted on a server in Germany (Strato/own infrastructure). On access the server automatically collects access data (IP address, date/time, file requested, browser/operating system) in log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short period.
4. Cookies & consent
Our website works without consent-requiring advertising or tracking cookies. We use technically necessary cookies (for example to store your language choice) only to provide the function you have requested. Should non-essential cookies or third-party services be used in the future, we will load them only after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25 TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
5. Fonts
We serve all fonts locally from our own server. When you visit the site, no connection is therefore made to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) and no data is transferred to third parties.
6. Embedded media (two-click)
If we embed third-party media (such as YouTube videos for music or audio), it is loaded only after your active click (two-click solution). Only then is data (including your IP address) transferred to the respective provider (for YouTube: Google Ireland Limited). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Nothing is loaded without your click.
7. Reach measurement
For statistical reach measurement we use Rybbit, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics software (operated on our own infrastructure, analytics.hqparts.de). Rybbit works without cookies, uses no cross-device recognition and stores no full IP addresses. Only aggregated metrics not traceable to a specific person are collected (such as page views, approximate origin at country level, device type and referring page). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimising statistics (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). As no cookies are set and no personal data is processed, no consent is required for this; you may nonetheless object to the anonymous measurement at any time at info@gentlecoach.de.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
9. Storage period
We store personal data only as long as it is needed for the respective purposes or as legal retention periods require.
